Congregation Beth Shalom (“House of Peace”) is a diverse and engaged community dedicated to learning, prayer, friendship, and Jewish living in south-central Indiana. We strive to be a “big-tent” Jewish home where everyone is welcome.

UPCOMING SERVICES

We welcome guests and visitors to our services. To protect your safety and security, we require all non-members to pre-register before attending any service. Services are also accessible on livestream. Please contact the office.

Friday Evening Services
Fridays at 7:30 pm, first Friday of the month at 6:15 pm.

Traditional Shabbat Services
Saturdays at 10:00 am

We also have once-monthly Jewish Renewal, Mincha, and Family Shabbat, as well as a once-monthly Weekday Morning Service and Learners’ Minyan.

We are committed to ensuring that Torah in all forms can connect all of us in the ways that are most accessible and convenient for each of us. In this spirit, Rabbi Noach’s classes will now be offered hybrid in-person and on Zoom. To create the atmosphere of sharing one conversation around one table, we have upgraded our technology with a large-screen TV so in-person participants can see and hear Zoomers, and a 360° camera so Zoomers can see and hear those speaking in-person. Please feel welcome to join us whether you are in or outside of Bloomington! We look forward to expanding the circle of our shared gatherings of mind and heart.

GAN SHALOM PRESCHOOL

 
 

Gan Shalom, our early childhood learning center, provides a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for children between the ages of 1-5 years.

Flexible Hours!

Half Day: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Full Day: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Early Care: starting at 8:00 am
After Care: Mon-Thurs until 5:30 pm; Fri until 4:00pm
Summer Camp: June & July
