Beth Shalom is sustained through your generous gifts. No matter the size of your donation, it is appreciated and used carefully to grow and nurture our “big tent” and all those who are part of our community.
You can donate online easily through our partner PayQuiq. There is no fee for paying by electronic checking account transfer. There is a 2.5% fee for paying by credit card. If you would prefer to donate by paper check, you can make your check out to Beth Shalom, 3750 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401. Please include a memo/note with your check to direct your donation to the appropriate fund. Our EIN is 35-1151656.

tzedakah initiative
The mission of the Tzedakah Initiative is to raise money for Tzedakah (charity) from Beth Shalom members and friends. Donations are “bundled” and once a year awarded to one or more local not-for-profit organizations that have had a positive and supportive influence on people in need here in Bloomington. Some money is held in reserve so that we can quickly respond to local community emergencies.
The suggested annual donation amount is $90 per person (or $180 per two-adult household).
